Hey guys! Here are some new music reviews! I know that these have been a long time coming but here they are. I finally got some time to sit down and write, so there will be a bunch of new reviews right in a row. Keep an eye out! The new Coldplay and London Suede are on tap for next month!!

doves - the last broadcast
I had heard bits and pieces of their last album which I enjoyed but I never heard the entire thing. After listening to 'the last broadcast', I want to pick up the last album. I fell in love with this album on the first track which is just a simple techno-ish intro. Pretty much, take everything that has ever been good about Brit Pop, stick it in a blender, add some techno/rock-ish beats, and you have the doves. There is something here for everyone to love and grasp onto. Enjoy it again and again.
Phantom Planet- The Guest
I have to admit to being behind the times on this one. I bought this one about 3 months after it was released. However, I love it. It has been the perfect summer music, good rhythms, great lyrics and melodies, and strong songwriting. A definite purchase, in my book.
House of Love - Audience with the mind
This is the "old" choice for the month. This is absolutely a classic album. The major track out off this album is "Hollow", which has the best bass intro ever in a rock song. I love this album so much that I have worn the tape to a mere shadow of it's original glory. If you haven't heard House of Love, pick them up, you'll be glad you did.
