Hello all. I'd like to talk to you today about the need for boot-cut capri pants. I am sure that you have all seen the
Gap commercials for these pieces of fancy fashion. What I wonder is... why? I mean, capri pants are (in theory) pants
that only extend down 3/4 of your leg, right? Now, I don't know about you but I don't know many people that will be wearing
jack boots in July. So, why the boot-cut? I hardly think that knee-high boots in August is something that Mr. Blackwell
would look favorably upon. Not to mention that it would be incredibly uncomfortable. Isn't enough that you are wearing capri
pants in the first place. But, do you have to add the flare at the bottom to make them "just so cool"? Now, maybe I'm being
a stick in the mud but I just don't see the point. It's like jams for girls. Yeah, you guys remember jams. The not quite
shorts but not quite pants. Usually in a pattern that would make the retirees in Florida cringe. I especially liked them when
paired with knee high sport socks. Now, that was a sexxy look. I wonder if that is what is next for the ladies. Boot-cut capri
pants with knee-high athletic socks. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Why couldn't I work in Paris and be on the "cutting edge"
of fashion? I just don't know...
